Your dentures should fit your mouth properly in order to work as they should. If your dentures begin to feel loose, it’s time to consider replacing them. Typically a reline will help the fit if the dentures are in good shape and aren’t too old.
2. Difficulty speaking or eating
One of the main reasons patients get dentures is to improve their ability to eat and chew. While it’s not unusual to need some time to adjust to your new dentures when you first get them, if you begin to have difficulty speaking or eating later on, it could be a sign that you need a new set.
3. Unnatural appearance and changes to your face shape
Your teeth have a big impact on your appearance, even in the shape of your face. Dentures will help to prevent your cheeks from falling inward and should be just as effective as natural teeth in this way. Some tell-tale signs that you need new dentures are when your cheeks and jawline start to look different or your face begins to sag.
4. Gum and jaw pain
